Ayahuasca is a ceremonial, spiritual medicine, traditional to several indigenous tribes of the Amazonia. It is made with parts of the Ayahuasca vine also known as Caapi along with several other herbs native to the region. Users intending to drink the final brew are encouraged by the supervising Shaman to pick leaves of a Chacruna plant themselves at sunrise and pray to the ancestral spirits of the rain forests.
